Interesting animated book covers

I was in a bookstore yesterday and I found some interesting animated book covers. They were so cute that I wasn't able to control myself, I picked them one by one and read their synopses. Have you seen some animated book covers that caught your attention before? What are the title of those books? I would be happy to search for them up online.

The first time I saw the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid, what attracted me to it was its cover. The doodle like yet good drawing for me was a good touch and really fits the book. Others I saw that made me pick them up and look at were mostly the covers of Young Adult novels and Fantasy novels with titles I don't remember. Covers are really important as they can get the attention of potential readers that otherwise would have never given the book a glance.

It is amazing to have an animated book cover. It makes the book live and worth looking at. I will use this idea in my next eBook

Oh, I can still remember the book cover of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It really is very enticing that you'll be curious what the story would be based from the title and the cover.

This novel idea is worth using. I will love an animated cover. It calls for attention. One is forced to pick it up. The animation is a good advertising tool.

Yes, you are right. Animated book covers can really make you curious about the book. It's a good strategy to attract those who are looking for good books and even those who are really not a bookworm.

The cover of a book is like the trailer of a movie. If a trailer is good, you will definitely want to watch the movie. The same is true of the cover of a book. If it's gripping and excites you, then you will be interested in reading the book. I've had to read a few books myself just because the cover was gripping enough. However I am yet to come across an animated book cover. It should be interesting to see one, but I am sure the same rules apply to those too.

I like how you compared the cover of the book to a movie trailer. It actually has a sense. People would have a sense of picking up something if they find it enticing. With books, yes a lot of people are drawn to good covers and it's the reason why they pick the book and turn it at the back for the synopsis.

Good analogy! I've never thought of it that way and it does make sense but I think a trailer for a movie compares more to a synopsis of a book while book covers compares to a sneak preview of a film.

I don't usually remember the title of books as I am criticizing the designs of book covers. Actually there are lots of covers that's really interesting to read but sometimes I use to just scan some of them when I have something to buy in bookstores.

I really like animated book covers because they are very catchy and cool to see, it is very attractive to have. I visited a few days ago a bookstore and I see a particular book that has an animated cover I just forget the title of the book since sometimes I am not focusing much on the title. It was really fun since the images are very cute and has a very good design which makes me attracted to read that particular book.

The Three by Sarah Lotz. It's a great animated book cover, you should really check it out.
Overall, not all animated book covers are good as expected to their book counterparts, but this one just hits the spot.

I will check it too. I tried to animate the cover of The Lonely Stones- coveted with a blanket by Meshack Bwoyele Keya with no success. I do not know what went wrong

A book cover can really caught someone's attention. It is a great marketing strategy. However, I usually look on title and if the title and synopsis in the back caught my interest, then cover doesn't matter to me at all.

Before you read a book you see the cover. Then you look for a review. You buy it and read. Mine have no reviews

I saw this book of a girl with a basket of violet flowers with a black background. It was so simple and yet so serene it was definitely eye catching. The book was titled "Gathering blue".

Some books are really well designed. They may be simple but you see some complexity in it. Like this one you saw.

I am really bad at remembering titles since I focus more on the content and story but I do pretty much remember every book cover I've seen. Most of them are animals like when I was young I use to read "Dumbo", "Lady and the Tramp" and many more which I don't remember the title. As I grew up, I used to read "Harry Potter" book series.

I tried to use one animated image in my eBook but it stopped to move. I do not know why. I wanted it to look very good.
