My husband bought me a golden ring with a blue zirconia stone inside. It was expensive because of the gold (it's a big ring), but the stone looks both beautiful and elegant.

Nice one. Was it like a buy from a jewellers shop and they planned all this before buying from the start.

It was a jewelry shop, yeah. But we told them what adjustments we wanted. We even asked them to fix the size of our desirable rings (they're both identical, but mine is more feminine).

ooh okay good to know. It must have been a fun experience and one that helped to nurture and grow you and your partner's love more especially due to the customization.

That's a lovely gift! If I were you, I wouldn't wear the gift too much outside here in our country. Lol. There are a lot of "talented" thieves in our place, especially in crowded places. Well, anyway, it's something that you can indeed show off.

Our country has a lot of thieves too, but not wearing it would ruin my spiritual state, because me and my husband always wear our rings to show everyone that we're married.
My husband rarely allows me to leave the house, because it's not safe outside, so when I go out it's usually to do some shopping.

Congrats to you,it alwsys good to get something precious for our loved ones. I once gold an emerald ring from a friend but lost it along the line. It was just very nice looking.

That is very sweet of your husband. I would agree that the blue stone is what made it look more beautiful and elegant. Blue gems are really fancy to look at.

I think if I have the money then I might give a gift to may partner a gold ring with an emerald stone to signify how much important she is to me. I think that would be a good gift that I can give to her since I know that she really deserve it.

That's a nice gift. Anyway, I'm sure she will love it because aside from the gold and emerald factor, it will always be the thought that counts the most.

That's exactly what I'm thinkng. If I have the money I cant find a reason why not. Its not that my partner is a materialistic person but I think it would be good to her.

I'm sure your partner will love it. As long as it is given from the heart then she will be happy. The thought counts more than anything. It would be best if it is a surprise when she least expect it.

It will definitely be a pleasant surprise for the recipient especially for one that love surprises like me. It can really helped to create a bond among friends. Emerald looks good too.

My engagement ring from
my husband has emeralds in it as well as diamonds. Green is my favorite color so he incorporated that into the ring design! It means a lot to me that he thought of that!

Amethyst sounds like a lovely gift. It has a nice color to it. I've read something about it once being used to cure drunkenness. It's an interesting fact about its historical uses. A bracelet made with it is surely something to appreciate.

I love the look of amethyst but I never knew about it being seen as a cure for drunkenness! It’s always interesting to me how things end up getting known for certain healing properties - I wonder if it really works.

In my own opinion, you should know the birth date of the one whom you'll be giving the gift to. There are corresponding stones for every month, and the recipient would be so touhed if she knows that you aligned the stone to her birthday.

Thats a great idea. Opal would be nice. I think that would be greatly appreciated by your partner since its her birthstone.

It would be nice to be given your birthstone. Birthstones have meanings and that would show that you remember the birthday of that person. It would be nice to receive a birthstone as a gift. Mine is Topaz.

Yes for sure my partner would really love it, I just can't have it now since I still have a lot of expenses but maybe one day I can give it to her if I already have the money to buy such an expensive gift. It would really comes to my heart for sure because I really love my partner and it is about time that I would give her a surprise that she will never forget in her entire life and I am very optimistic that she will be happy about it.

I think someone's birthstone is a nice idea. Depending on the month you're born in, there's a corresponding stone that relates to it. It can show a bit of thought was put into a gift if someone knows what your birthstone is!

Yes, I also think the same. The one who will receive the gift would really say that you're very thoughtful. It's nice to have a present which also bears a meaning.

I agree. I always think you can tell when someone’s put some thought and effort into a gift rather than just buying something last minute. I’m very sentimental towards gifts I’ve been given that truly showed meaning in them.

Getting a semiprecious stone is indeed a very good gift idea for a nice loved ones. I believe getting anyone will depend on one's pocket since there prices differs. Diamond Garnet and black opal wouldn't be a bad idea and their prices isn't that high, just between $3300-3500 per carat.

Black opals are really unique looking and I certainly think if you were looking for something different it could be a very special stone to someone. I love the rainbow-like quality that black opal displays. It’s so interesting to look at.

Those are really pricey, you can get a good quality pink sapphire for cheaper than that. A black opal is something that's really elegant. A fire agate, bloodstone, or hematite are nice substitutes for it if an opal is too pricey.

That’s good advice for those of us who don’t have a huge budget to spend on semi precious stones! Always nice to have some options for similar styled pieces.

I think that it would be a great gift. After all it is the thought counts and it is what really gives the meaning to the stones. Some would even be thrilled if you give them their birth stones.

Depends on what the birth stone is or what color the receiver of the gift likes. For pink sapphires I think Morganite can be a good substitute stone. Moonstones are also very pretty to look at you should check out that moonstone store on Instagram they have a lot of items there.

Well it depends on the character of the person and how precious that person for you. If I would give that kind of gift to a special person, maybe I would give her Topaz simply because it was our section when we were in High School.

I think it would be better if you will choose a personalized gift or something that would ave a meaning to the person who will receive it. For example, you can give that special one his birth stone. That way, the gift would not only have a connection to you as you are the one who gave it but also to that person. You can also give a semi precious stone with engraved words or name.

If you're trying to give it to a female as a gift, you can never go wrong with tanzanite. A pair of a rose gold tanzanite earrings is a great gift for your loved ones this Christmas. Check out Amazon for ideas.

Had to look up tanzanite since I hadn’t heard of it before but it’s really pretty! I’d be happy if I received some jewelry with that stone in it - I think it would go with my style quite nicely!

I'm sure it will look good on you. Women who wear earrings give the impression that they have class and style. Men on the other hand who wears earrings somehow imply the notion that they are a playboy. Now, why is that? LOL

I often always have the same answer to questions about the best gift ideas. People happen to be different and have different tastes. It's important to find out what a person likes if you truly want to surprise them with a gift. You want the surprise to be that they didn't expect you to gift them what they always wanted. What you don't want is to buy someone a gift they'd hate but have to pretend to love it just so they don't hurt your feelings.

I think that’s very good advice for any of us to remember. No two people are the same and everyone has different likes and dislikes - it’s best to find out what they as an individual really like rather than just guessing. I’d be heartbroken if someone felt like they had to lie and say they liked a present I’d gotten them when they really didn’t. It pays to really do some research on the recipient of your gift.

Yes I think it's a good idea. Sometimes my mother use to give gifts to someone about Holy Rosary with cool stones like mentioned above. There are a lot in stores selling those kind of stones that can be a gift to someone. You can also give your someone special this kind of stones as this can be symbolizes something. You just have to look for an accurate description for your love ones.

Pendants with Semi Precious Stones are good gift items for men and women. It's elegant at the same time it's affordable and you don't have to buy the gold chain. My birth month is December and my birthstone is Zircon or Turquoise that's why I have an affinity for the color Blue.

Sometimes I am thinking of giving my partner a necklace with a little diamonds in her pendant so that it will look nice and very elegant. It might only be very expensive I guess but I think it doesn't matter as long my partner would be satisfied and happy about it then I might be also be glad to see that she really likes it.

What semi precious stone would be a good gift idea. For me you should know her birthstone amd that would be the besr precious stone for her as a gift, I am sure she will like it. I have some idea regarding jewelry because i tried to work there before. Some precious stone are good gift for some reason like the opal one. Opal is the stone to prevent you from any health problem.

Amber is one that I really like and would feel happy gifting it to someone as well. I will pretty enjoy doing so since it is one of the best way to enjoy the season of Christmas.

I would go with one that's the recipient's birth month. All of the different month stones are gorgeous, plus it adds an extra little personal touch to the gift.

I consider giving gifts like gold ring, bracelet or necklace to my love ones. It was an investment for them because they could easily sell it on time of crisis or emergencies. It doesn't matter to me if they will sell it or what they want to do about it because it was already their property and they could do what they want.
