So what are Banner Ads and who cares?

Banner Ads are just that, banner, ads. They are banners. A banner is defined as being a heading or advertisement appearing on a web page in the form of a bar, column, or box. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. From really very small sizes from 100x100, 200x200, 250x250, 500x500. Horizontal banner sizes such as 100x500 or even verticals like 500x1000 or something. Basically, banners come in many different shapes and sizes! So banner ads are images that are ads! They are often made for being an ad. Something that you can see that shows something that you can click on that takes you to another place on that website. Or another website!

And by nature, banner ads are usually made to be as appealing as possible. They can often be images or words, static or moving. Or a mix of both. They are designed to attract people to them by having something in them that might appeal to people. Such as a banner ad that promoted some kitten food for people who was browsing a blog about kittens. It stands to reason that anyone browsing a blog about kittens, would be fairly attracted to an image that had some appealing image or text in it.

Or let's use another example. Let's say you was browsing a website that was about creating banner ads, and you saw a banner ad that said something like, "any banner ad created for just $5". And you was feeling lazy, then you would be much more likelier to click on that banner ad and be taken to that offer right?

Who uses Banner Ads?

Many different people from all walks of life! From small bloggers to super large affiliate marketers and even governmental organizations. From people who want to advertise on someone else's website or blog. To people who want to advertise something on their own site or blog or forum or community or just about anything else you can think of.

The point is, there is and always has been a massive, massive demand for banner ads. And not just for banner ads, but for banner ad creation as well. Think about it, there are literally millions of bloggers and webmasters online today that would like a nice looking banner ad on some site, or even their own site, that they don't have the skills and know how to create one for them self. And this is where Pixel Clerks comes in! How to Buy and Sell Banner Ads on Pixel Clerks

How to Buy and Sell Banner Ads on Pixel Clerks?

Buying Banner Ads

Well to buy banner ads is pretty easy. There's 2 ways of going about it. The first is the most obvious and that's to browse through the Banner Ads category. You can then look through all the current banner ad services in that category and even use some of the sorting options to view by top rated and the like. However, at the moment, as you can see, due to Pixel Clerks being so new, there isn't really many services in that category right now. But in time, as more people come over from SEOClerks and from the outside, more people will list their banner ad services for sale in that category and there will be much much more to choose from.

The 2nd way to go about it, and this might apply more seeing as there isn't much choice here at the moment, is to create a WTB requesting a banner ad. In fact, that might be the best choice regardless, even if there is a lot of banner ad services, simply because you can list out exactly what it is you want your banner ad to look like or say. You can include there any words or text or images you want to use in it. Or give instructions on what you want the banner ad to look like and say.

That way, anyone that can do that, can bid on it for you, then you can hire someone based on their bid or what they've said or even their currently user level status and amount of positive recommendations they have and the like so you can hire the perfect person for the job that needs doing.

Selling Banner Ads

If you have any experience or skills in creating logos and things like that, they you can turn those skills and experience into cash by selling banner ad services right here on Pixel Clerks! All you have to do is click on the Sell Graphic Services link to start a new service. Fill in all the required fields like the title, description and price etc. And make sure you put a great description too! Not just "I will create you a banner ad". You need to use the description area to really sell yourself! It would be good if you could put samples and examples of your past work here as well as that will really really help sway peoples decision into buying your banner ad service.

Don't have any skills or experience in creating banners but still want to sell them here?

Okay here's a little tip for you that is based on Arbitrage. Arbitrage is the act of buying something somewhere else, and then selling it on somewhere else for even more. If you can find someone that sells banner ads for a good price. You can then repackage that as a service on here and sell it for say, double the price. That way when someone orders, you would have to buy that service elsewhere, give the seller the details your buyer gave you on here and then have them make it for you. Then when it's finished, simply get it from the seller and then deliver it to the buyer on here. Simple!

You'd have to be clever about this though, while there is nothing unethical about this, the buyer may think that YOU are the one designing and creating their banner ad. You would have to be clever about how you word your service and make sure that you don't specifically say that you're making it but just that they will get it made for them.

You'd also have to make sure that the place or person you're buying it from will give you free changes or "modifications". Because your buyer may ask for it to be changed or modified in some way and you'd have to go back to the seller you purchased it from and get those changes/modifications made done to it, and then redeliver it to your buyer once again.

Lots of people do this and for all intents and purposes it works out well for them. However, it's not that hard to learn how to make banner ads and there's lots of free software and tools and tutorials and things out there that you can use and learn from to know how to make them yourself.

And that my friends, is how to buy and sell banner ads on Pixel Clerks!

I hope you find this useful. Do give it a thumbs up if so and follow me.

Was thinking I was the only person that got cracked up by the meme the poster added to the picture. It's really funny when you take a good look at it.

You kidding? that meme was the perfect touch right... and it may looks or seems kind of silly, but I do have seen people like that. Anyway, I think this information is really good, at least is excellent for me, because I like to make all these things step by step. Not a big fan of banner ads, but you never know when you will need them.

The one good thing about meme is that they will always make you feel better and happy after reading them. Now when a meme become an educative one, then it's a double edged benefit meme because as much as it's adding humor to your life, it's also teaching you a very good information. The information contained in the article are very interesting.

I am definitely interested in Banner Ads, for my blogs, and I would not be against paying for them at a decent price. Plus, buying one of these is a permanent purchase, right? In other words, it is your ad after you buy it, and no one else can use it, correct? I have experimented a lot with making memes, and people have told me I have a knack for it, so I wonder if I could use some of that skill to create and sell my own Banner Ads down the road. For now, though, I am just trying to get more traffic on my site and to properly monetize it as well.

I had not realized that there was buy and sell banner ad feature on pixel clerk. So banner ad service available on pixel clerk is just a graphic designing service with a different name. I am not a designer. However, I have some designing skills. I have created logos and banners for my websites even for client websites. I use photoshop and I can easily create banner ads on photoshop. I will be creating a service to sell my banner ads soon.

If you want to sell your services, even the graphic designing service, I think the better platform is SEO Clerk. Well, Pixel Clerk is an appropriate platform for selling designing service, however, SEP Clerks get better traffic, therefore, the chances of finding buyers are greater on SEO Clerk. Since SEO clerk and Pixel clerk, both are owned by Ionicware, having an account on one site will automatically create your account on another site.
