I would really want to reboot the full length series of Gilmore Girls. I really like how that series was delivered. Witty lines that are very sensible and humorous. It has a great story line too.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I don't know about that. I think the original show is the great. It's just one of those cases where the reboot will ultimately feel inferior compared to the original series. Like with what happened to "Charmed" and its reboot.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Kakashi2020
Charmed was one of my faves back then and before that there was 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer", starring Sarah Michelle Cellar it was released in the early 2000's. I wish they would consider rebooting this series.

I like Gilmore girls also. I enjoyed watching it. Hope they will reboot it. It was american comedy drama series directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino. The main stars here were Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.

Have you seen Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life? I got too excited to watch it ,but, I got to say I got a bit disappointed on how theatrical they made it. I guess I still like the older series and the witty lines all the characters throw at each other.

No I havent seen it yet. How was it? Well I will still choose the old and original one. Love the humors and how the story goes.

I remember this TV series and I used to watch this. It was a comedy-drama series. It was about the relationship between a mother and daughter. Characters were amazing and the actors had wonderful acting skills. I hope to watch again this kind of series.

Here in the Philippines there is this soap opera that has been running for three years already. Other soap operas were stopped because of low ratings. This one is hard to stop because of its high ratings since it started.

I would like to watch kung fu tv series by Jackie Chan, Jet Lee or Bruce Lee. I like Kung fu. Its so entertaining.

My childhood horror series "Are You Afraid Of the Dark". It was an epic show that is why i wanted to reboot it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
I watched this movie while still a kid and was really afraid back then. The funny thing was that you wouldn't even get to the point where you have to be afraid of the darkness before getting scared. I would want to watch it as an adult now.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Actually, he's referring to the TV Series. It's not really scary when you think about it. But once you get into the story. You feel as if you're one of the characters. You care about what happens to them. They just have a great cast and storytelling.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

MomoStarr16
If you watch it now as an adult it won't make you scared anymore. I tried it. But it makes you feel nostalgic and makes you remember the good feeling when you are still a child.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

kammy143
I also liked that television series. It's true that these kind of shows wouldn't get you scared as much as an adult, but as a child I really enjoyed it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Goosebumps also had a live action series. Though, it was creepier when watched as a child. Adults just find it cheesy. But then again, it's the thing they like about it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Me too. It's not scary anymore. It's more of the feeling of reminiscing your younger days. But I still find the stories entertaining. Some are just really well done.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Oh! I know that one. It's a good choice. I also got scared at times. It's more of a creepy vibe than a scary jump shot type of fear. My favorite is probably the one with the radio station.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
I also enjoy watching horror movies but I haven't really seen this one that you have just mentioned here that is called "Are You Afraid Of the Dark". Maybe I'm going to look at the possibility of getting the movie to watch now even before it gets a new reboot.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I'm not sure if you're referring to a movie or the TV series. I like that the TV series has lots of episodes. They have great stories that make you feel campy. Like you're listening to a horror story.

I just don't know if this series was just a copy from the tales from the crypt or they was aired at the same year but they are both awesome and honestly I still have the CD's of tales from the crypt from season 1 to 7.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Maybe it's both. Hahaha!

I remember watching that series too. I can definitely say that they're both creepy. But "Tales From The Crypt" is a bit more intense than the other show.

LOL, I remember and used to watch this series even sometimes I'm just closing my eyes while watching this, and I also remember that there was a local movie related to this, and that was "takot ka ba sa dilim" LOL. What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted?

Never heard that movie. It looks like very scary movie as the title tells. I dont like to watch horror movie as I have always seen than in my dreams.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

If I'm not mistaken it was just a normal horror movie and there's some part of comedy. Yeah, that's right, sometimes the more we think about the horror movies its always become part of our dream, and the characters from horror movies are good companion, you're not feel alone, when you think about them. What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Exactly. Well if its not really a heavy horror movie,I think I can watch it. But I still prefer to watch it someone.

That's actually a really good idea. I can't say that I've watched Nickelodeon much in the last 15 years or so but its probably safe to assume they don't have anything that fills that kind of void. With all the newer anthology type shows out now like Black Mirror, Electric Dreams, American Horror Story, etc, they're even rebooting the Twilight Zone again soon. I think it makes sense to give a new generation of kids an updated Are You Afraid of the Dark. Hell, I would watch it.

Would definitely watch a reboot of One Tree Hill. The story has a lot of drama in it, not just the family but as well as teenage life of the characters in the story. I relate myself in the character of Peyton Sawyer. So I would be excited to see what will happen if the show will have a reboot.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I don't know if it would still work. It's a given that many of the actors made the show work. Their acting was spot on in portraying the realistic lives of these characters. I'm not really sure if it will be handled well by new young actors.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Martinsx1
Well, I'm of the opinion that "One Tree Hill" isn't that old to require a reboot. It's still pretty new to me. I'm actually still watching the movie at the moment and I'm yet to complete it. Peyton Sawyer was my favorite character in the series One Tree Hill. The movie is so interesting in my opinion.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
It probably depends on the person. Some actually feel old reminiscing such shows. Even less than a decade already feels too long for people nowadays. So I guess the nostalgia is real when it comes to this show.

I am not into hollywood drama series before. So,I'd love to watch the Taiwanese drama series F4 again What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted?
It reminds me a lot of my childhood days. I want a reboot of the said drama. I want to feel the same feeling I got before whenever me and my siblings are all focused on the television while watching it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I have seen some remakes of Meteor Garden, I have to say the Taiwanese version is still the best in my opinion. It's like the rawness of the tv series really made most of us eager to see what will happen next. It's not like the remakes that are more cutesy, it is quite repeatable and closer to real life situations.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

edencaga
Yeah, me too. I like the Taiwanese version of Meteor Garden compared to other versions. I remember after class I have to walk and run fast just to watch the Meteor Garden. You will really force yourself to watch the actual show in television because there were no internet on those times. Unlike today, even if you can't watch it on television you can still catch up the episodes in internet.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jennyfermanuel
Yes What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted? The original is still the best.
I've seen the new Meteor garden trailer if I am not mistaken, I guess it will serve as the best remake of the said drama series today. Try to watch it on youtube, I got goosebumps when I saw it. It reminds me a lot of the old Meteor Garden.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mdayrit
I agree. The Taiwanese version is still what comes to mind when I hear Meteor Garden. There are a lot of version of it but it doesn't feel the same watching it versus watching the original one.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Nothing beats the original. I have seen the revival of it and I dont like it. There is new revival from China and I still dont like it. Watching revival would give you a comparison from original.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jennyfermanuel
Correct. I am loving the new version of this drama series, but still nothing can beat the original What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted? I also found out that the actors who played the role of the four teenagers are still young looking. Even Barbie Xu looks still perfect. It'll be better if they reboot it and then played with the original actors. Interesting to watch What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Yeah I believe so. Original is original. I watched the Korean version and I honestly dont like it. I still comparing it from the original. I cant wait to watch the Filipino version of it and let see how it will go.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I totally agree. That version really captured people's hearts. The remakes were okay. I'm just fond of the songs from the original version. Even though I couldn't understand them, I feel such strong emotions.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jennyfermanuel
Me as well What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted? I love the songs they used. And it's the reason I have loved the trailer of the new remake of Meteor Garden. The music reminds us of our early years. And yes, even though we couldn't understand the meaning of the lyrics, we can feel the strong emotions it has.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I've also realized the beauty of such melodies. Also, the actress portraying the main character is "The Original Cute Girl" that many TV shows take inspiration from.

Like how romantic comedies always feature that rebellious yet innocent cute girl. And the male lead is almost always a bad boy of sorts.

It's been so used to the point that it became a cliche. But at the time this show aired, it wasn't as much of a cliche as it is now.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

edencaga
Same boat as well. I like their soundtracks actually and as soon as I discovered watching this, I can say that I am liking this series. There were some areas where in it was kind of different from the Taiwanese version like when the F4 noted a red card in your locker then you have to compete with them by playing. If you lose you need to follow them as consequences.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

superlicca
You are right. There is the remake of this drama from other Asian countries. But the original is the best version. The Actors are perfect for the roles. And the theme songs of this Taiwanese drama are unforgettable. I still have these songs on my phone until now.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

jetselle
I agree with you the origninal Meteor Garden is more better than the remake one. I dont know if I being a one sided because I love watching it in the long time. The tv series remake that I loved the most is My Sassy girl, They change it differently to the original one because they make it to historical theme.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Oh, I know that show. I guess you could say it was the show to watch back then. It's also funny when you look back at the fashion trends and hairstyles when the show originally aired. Makes you feel the early 2000's vibes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

mark8625
Yeah the F4. I remember meteor garden with them. That was a hit series in the Philippines way back early 2000. Who will forget San Chai and Dau Mingzu? I watched that series also. Many revival from different countries did that new version of it. In fact recently chinese star currently doing the latest revival of it and it is showing in the Philippines now.

Home alone is one more that I really wish that they will reboot. The thing is that the movie was a nice one that made every kid in the neighborhood have lots of fun watching it. You get to know with the time that the kids spend watching the movie back then.

This one can compare now to the seasonal movie in our country, like the movies during the holly week. What TV Series would you like to be Rebooted? and I feel sometimes that my year is not complete because I missed to watch this. LOL.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I guess you could say that it has a certain charm to it. Maybe it's our nostalgia with being younger. That's one of the reasons why many like to watch it during holidays.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

It would be tough to find someone as tenacious as the original actor. Roles like this require specific talent to deliver. So they must choose someone who's equally innocent as they are naughty.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
Yeah, it is not going to be easy as the original actor is now a grown man. However, I always have this feeling that there are people that can do some roles in movies perfectly without having challenges since they are born to act. This is one thing those movie directors should look for.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I agree. And they should also look for someone who fits the role. The person who captures the look of the intended main character. And can deliver when it comes to acting emotional scenes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Barida
You have a point with this as it is not going to be easy to find someone that can add the emotional part of the movie home alone. However, we've seen replacements in the movie industry and this has gone to show that there is nothing that is impossible to happen when we are talking about we're making a movie.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Youngshark
Oooh yeah. This one takes me to my child hood and I am pretty sure it would still be funny to me even now. The bravery that kid has cannot be equated to some of the adult stars at the moment. I know its just a film but you have got to appreciate the talent.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

This is one movie that never gets old for me. It was a Christmas tradition in our country to play this movie during the Holiday season. This was really popular during my time that a local sitcom was launched named after this, although with a very different plot which is "Home along the riles". This literally mean a home situated beside the train railway.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Home alone is a classic and can be totally rebooted and still be different enough from the original since we live in a more technologically advanced world, so the situation would be much different.

One of my favorites was Twilight Zone, im still wondering why they stopped it, since it was pretty good. The first series was in the 1950's and the second one was in the late 1980's and there was another series in the early 2000's but I think it's not as good as the late 80's series which was what I used to watch.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

ballyhara
Yes, Twilight Zone fan here too. I remember the 80's and staying up late at night, because it was kind of a rated tv show here, so I had to wait until midnight to watch it. My mom got angry about it hahaha, she used to say that show would give me nightmares, but I was a very good fan and I never got scared. Sure I would like a reboot.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Yeah i am a fan of Twilight Zone, its a good short horror story. Although i didn't know if i will have the same feeling when i watched it again. I definitely want a reboot but i guest with a different twist along with the new technology in cinematography.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Oh me too. Visual effects must be just great right now, and all the photography and locations will be even more real. I'm a fan of paranormal stuff, and I've been watching these kind of shows, including X-Files. That show already got a reboot, and I was somehow disappointed, it doesn't have the spark that the old one really had. I was waiting so much more of it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Marako0406
I remember that Twilight Zone TV series as well as the X files. It would be great to remake those TV series and interesting since we have advancing technology as you mentioned. Definitely will be watching out for it if there's a chance it might be rebooted. I really like their stories every time it aired before, it gets really interesting with every episode they show and if it will be rebooted I really hope that it would be more interesting and suspense packed episodes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Twilight zone reminds me of my childhood. This is the show where my brother and I would stay late and watch it with the lights off. By the time the show is done, I would have a hard time sleeping because I keep on replaying the show in my head.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

DenisP
Twilight Zone is one those shows that I've constantly seen parodied in popular media, but I have never sat down and watched the originals. Judging by the parodies alone, I think it would be worth my time to give the original show a watch. The thing is that it was a quite a bit before my time (I'm 26) so I never really considered looking into it. I like older movies but older television shows just never seemed all that appealing to me.

Think I might give it a try this weekend, though.

When I was a kid I used to watch Battle Star Galactica starring Dirk Benedict as Starbuck and Richard Hatch as Apollo, it was shown here in the Philippines in the 80's and I just like the notion of humans vs robots. I think there where 3 series and the 3rd one was in the early 2000's.

That's one the spin off scripts of star wars movies. I'm a huge fan of star wars Galactic empire struggles. Even though I didn't get to watch this particular movie you just mentioned here, I'm absolutely sure it's going to be a great movie. All Star Wars movies never disappoint.

This is a pretty good question for me to consider, because while I enjoy many old school movies, I wasn't really that much of a fan of old school television. In any case, I think the problem with this is that if you reboot a television show, you're going to be missing a lot of the charm that made the show special in the first place. It's like, it's easier to reboot a movie because you don't get so attached to the characters/actors in a two hour period, but television shows can be something you've watched for a good portion of your life. But as for my answer, I think it might be interesting to see a reboot of I Love Lucy, though I can't imagine the backlash that would get from classic fans.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

And I think it's really hard for the new artists who going to portray the previous characters not to compare the new to old, it's gonna be a big challenge for them, and for the fans, even they want to see that series or movie in all new characters they will still choose the original one.

It's a bit too soon for a reboot since the series is still ongoing, but the series handled his death pretty well and it was a great sendoff for the character, and the series is also loosely based on several Norse myths and stories.

I've actually never seen the Mighty Ducks movie, but I was a huge fan of the animated series as a kid! I almost completely forgot about them until you just brought them up. Sadly I don't quite remember the actual plot of the show, as I was only about 5 or 6 when it originally aired. I do remember having a whole collection of toys from the show though, so I must've loved it, haha.

I think I'm going to have to track down the series and relive some childhood nostalgia. Maybe I'll start remembering some details.

I would like to say Friends but I thought that should stay the same and still great and funny to watch. Maybe I'd say I would like to reboot Brothers and Sisters. It's all about family and how far one could go to care or to hurt anyone that includes family related issues like business and friends but at the end of the day family still stand and remain by anyone's side.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

One of my favorite TV series in the 80's was Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer, I think it was originally a novel made into a series and it's all about a tough private eye they made it with someone narrating the story, which I think was very good. I would really like to see Mike Hammer again on screen.

I think the House MD. for me. I really like that series, specially Dr. House. His character is really interesting and how they treat the patients and the people around him. He actually looks like Tony Starks on Iron man the way they talk, sarcastic, funny and really genius.

E.R also is very interesting t.v series like House M.D. I just don't like the ending of House MD. I hope they would rebooted it and place DR. House and Wilson in some isolated area where medical attention really needed.

Well, one of my old time TV series favorites is 24, and it's already been reboot with 24 Legacy which seems to be very good. But at the moment, the shooting is on hold with only about 8 or 9 new episodes released already. I'm still waiting for the immediate release of the remaining ones. I just hope that they are not planning on scrapping the TV series.

Lost. I really like this series. The story is good as well as the actors. I like how the characters fight for there survival. The story twist is sometimes confusing but it is still good. Once you watch the first few few episodes, you can't stop watching it. The mysteries will keep you thinking and curious. The best season for me is season one, but i'm not saying that other season is not good. All in all it was good.

Another favorite of mine is Prison Break. It is just great. I love Wentworth Miller, and his character is awesome. The story is also nice. I am so glad that after years another season got released last year. Just watch it and you will never regret.

I can't imagine them doing a reboot of "Lost." It's so out there. What I didn't like about it was how it ended. Many fans of the series weren't satisfied with the payoff they were given in terms of reveals. I hope they produce another show but this time with better writing.

I almost forgot this Highlander, This is one of my favorite series before because when I was young samurai sword is the most popular toys during that time, and if I'm not mistaken, before or after the Highlander, the next program is Viper, one of my favorite also.

There was a really good TV series called The Love Boat, I watched a few episodes before it ended and it was quite good. It's about a cruise ship, it's crew and passengers and how the crew helps the passengers fall in love.

When I was a child, I used to watch Knight Rider. The show was originally aired by the NBC from 1982 to 1986, however, I watched the show on a local television in the early 90s. I don't remember much of Knight Rider, I wish the show is rebooted and aired again.

When I was young my grand mother always watches Dynasty and Dallas, these where American soap operas or drama series, which my grandmother likes watching and after sometime even I began watching it. It's like the precursor of modern day telenovelas.

I remember this as my father used to watch this series. I can no longer recall so much about it but all I know is that the main character is really resourceful, creative and is a genius in troubleshooting.

How about doing another spin off of Prison Break? Who doesn't love Prison Break? It was in fact my first most loved series movie of all time. I still give in little time to watch it over again when I get spare time to do so. Americans actually know how to produce solid movies that would have a good impression on its viewers.

That's a great idea. The series caught my attention on its first season but gradually lost its charm with the succeeding ones. I like Michael Scoffield's character, having the blueprint of the prison tattooed on his body is pure genius. But then the story went down spiral after escaping out of it. It somehow became predictable.

I would like to see a remake of Doogie Howser M.D., he's the kid medical doctor / genius who could always solve medical problems back in the 90's. A reboot of this old series would be great.

There's an old 90's series starring Sam Jones titled The Highwayman and it was a good action series akin to knight Rider of the 80's. Although he's not driving a car instead he's driving a big truck.

One TV series I really like in the 90's was The X Files starring David Duchovny as FBI Agent Mulder and Gillian Anderson as his partner Sculley. I really miss that science fiction series which has thought provoking episodes that would always makes one think about what is real and what is not.

I think I'd rather see a continuation than a reboot. I'm not sure but I think there's actually something to that effect happening right now. Season 12 is currently being discussed. But I'm not sure if it's final.

There's this old tv series in the 90's called Xena the Warrior Princess and it's a good series with all the girl fights. It started female body builder Lucy Lawless as Xena, who is sort of an Amazonian Warrior who travels the old world with a female companion named Gabrielle. I hope they reboot this series, Gal Gadot would be a perfect new Xena.

"Friends" of course is one of those I want a reboot on. This show is really hilarious. My favorites were Joey and Phoebe. I also want to see reboots of "Party of Five" which starred Neve Campbell. They were 5 siblings in the family who struggled on their own without adult supervision. My siblings and I watched it as we had the same thing. Another is Keri Russell's "Felicity" which I watched during my college years.

I'm not sure if it's possible. I mean, they can do that. But it probably wouldn't be the same as the original in terms of nostalgia. Shows like this tend to run on memories of simpler times. Obviously, the modern era is full of complex stuff like social media and Youtube.

Friends was a favorite show of mine too, but I think a reboot would be so hard to compare to the original! It was such a cult classic that I think a lot of diehard fans would feel disappointed if their favorite characters didn't live up to the original ones.

I don't know if I had missed half of my life for not being able to watch "Friends". I only know about that through people talking US TV series. But, I never tried watching it. Maybe, it would be great for me to watch a rebooted one since I cannot make comparisons.

I miss Malcolm in the Middle, it was the best comedy back in the 90's. It's about a dysfunctional family with kids Francis, Reese, Malcolm, Dewey and the youngest Jaimie. A young Frankie Munoz stars as Malcolm. This series is really funny and ran 7 seasons from 2000 - 2006.

I would like to rebooted Vampire Diaries. I miss watching this series. I miss Stefan and Damon. I hope they will make a continuation of the series but sadly it would come to end. This series was worth watching for. So many actions and no dull moments. Hope to watch it again.

Man, but Vampire Diaries just finished on March last year, and I think after eight seasons, that was pretty enough. Also, they have 2 spin off series so far, one is The Originals that just ended last month, and one is coming, will be called Legacies. It will follow the story of Hope Mikaelson and Caroline/Alaric twins, at Salvatore school for special gifted.

Seventh Heaven is another one I wish they can do a reboot on. It was a family oriented program which intended to instill values among viewers. Jessica Biel was one of the familiar faces here during her teen years. It tackled the challenges of raising a family. I wish they can do at least a similar program which would integrate the challenges of our times like social media and moral decline.

It seems that nowadays there's a lack on Private Eye or Detective Agency Series, I haven't watched one for years now.

I would like to see a reboot of the classic "Knight Rider". I didn't like the one that came out in 2008. I'd like to see a proper readaption of this classic TV Show. There was a petition 10 years ago after the crappy version came out where the original creator Glen Larson would direct the movie and will star David Hasselhoff as sort of a mentor for the new Michael Knight. It sucks that it didn't push through. Someone needs to do this series justice!

If there is a TV series that I want to reboot, it should be Smallville. I am a great fan of Lana and Clark. I was not able to watch all the seasons due to my hectic schedule but I watched the first four seasons. For those who don't know this American series, Smallville is the story of Superman before he was a Superman. Tom Welling played the role of Clark and Lana was played by a very beautiful lady named Kristin Kreuk. Their love team was a perfect match and I really fell in love with their characters. I hope to watch again this kind of series someday.

I like sitcoms and one of my favorites was Frasier starring Kelsey Gramer. Its all about 2 highly educated and eccentric brothers who along with their retired police officer dad, lives in a flat with a not so intelligent beautiful british maid. It's somewhat reminds me of The Big Bang Theory. I really miss that comedy series and I wish that it gets rebooted soon.

For me, I will refrain from rebooting old school series especially if it is from the SCI-FI and horror genre. In today's era of very good CGI, special effects and musical scoring, old school sci-fi and horror series will just look like bluff. And if you try to "remake" the series, it will just ruin the old school feelings when it was originally aired. For me, some series should be respected the way they were. Besides, what is in way before is not the same on what is in today. Let old school series stay as nostalgic memories.

I do hope it gets rebooted.

Found a list published by Mashable.com dated Mar 2018 of TV shows “reboots and revivals”. I have to say THAT LISTS SUCKS! Really? Who wants to see those shows? The list is outdated. Roseanne Barr got her own rebooted show canceled because she wasn't careful about the words she chose to speak publicly.

Another TV series that I would love to reboot is the Heroes. I love the characters already, their powers and how they are related with each other but it seems that the story is not yet finished. That I think would be the reason I would love to reboot this TV series. The story was awesome and it's about family and power that breaks everyone apart. I really hope that HBO would give this TV series another chance since there are a lot of series made with super natural powers and super heroes.

I would like to have a reboot of The IT Crowd. It's not that old but I would like to have an american reboot to see what they could come up with. Being in the IT industry myself, I find this show very funny however the setting is a bit old now and the joke/technology references are a bit dated as well.

As for me, I'd like to see Frasier again rebooted to adapt in today's society. The series is about Dr. Frasier Crane, a successful Boston therapist who moved to Seattle to get a new start in life. He has a radio talk show, which he uses to relay his wisdom and wit to others. But often, he struggles with his personal problems with his salt-of-the-earth father, his pretentious brother, his friends, and colleagues.

Actually, when it comes to TV serial rebooting I think of a very beautiful old Japanese serial which I have recently watched on video after many years. The name of the serial is Oshin and it was broadcasted many years back, the story of the serial revolves around a small girl and her struggles to be successful in life fighting poverty and neglect. Although I have never seen this serial live, I would definitely want to see it rebooted

I was not able to watch American TV shows back when I was a kid, so I cannot share something that would appeal to the majority. But, I definitely want a reboot of a Korean drama entitled Secret Garden. That was one of my most favorite Asian dramas. It was about a man and a woman who magically switched bodies. I remember being so hooked that I don't sleep early for school the next day, because it was broadcasted on Philippine television during late nights.

Lately I've seen a few American movies that were adapted to suit Asian audiences. The plot was almost the scene but there were some slight changes to customize the movie for a different viewing audience. I rather some of the remakes.

  • Just as a side note: My husband says how do I know the American movie isn't a remake of an Indian movie? It's obvious! Cary Grant was born in 1904. Aamir Kahn was born in 1965. I'm pretty sure the American movie came first.

Anyway! The thought occurred to me that perhaps American TV series could be customized and remade for the Asian audience as well. What do you think of the idea? Do they already do that?

Hi there!
I think Game of Thrones should be rebooted since season 5. This is just terrible what they did with the show, especially the latest two seasons. Awful.
I'd rather wait 20 years for G.R.R.Martin to finish the books rather than see the story I dedicated myself to getting destroyed by the show writers.
