Interesting. I'm a huge fan of Adobe products--I use Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for all my design and video editing needs--but I'm not all that up to date with what's been happening at Adobe. I wasn't aware of Adobe Spark until now.

After a quick Google search, I've found that it's apparently an iOS only application? Shame considering I don't use any Apple products. In any case, it seems like a convenient application for those without too much design experience or access to expensive programs like Photoshop, but I don't think I'd personally use it.

From the Wikipedia page: "While it leverages concepts from Adobe’s pro tools like Photoshop and InDesign, like the ability to layer images with text and filters, it makes this accessible to everyday users who can make these sorts of changes just by tapping buttons."

It sounds very arrogant of me, but I don't really like simplified programs, because I feel that they strangle creativity. On the other hand, if you learn to efficiently use programs like Photoshop and all the tools it comes with, the only limitation is your own creative capacity.

I don't use iOS devices as well. However, Adobe Spark is also available in the desktop version. All you have to do is go to the website, register or associate with your Adobe ID.
I use Adobe Photoshop. However, I also use other online and offline programs for a quick fix. For instance, if I do not have time to adjust light and color, I will always use an online photo editor called BeFunky. By using this program I can apply amazing filters to my photos with few clicks. A simplified program, of course, blocks your creativity, however, it also simplifies your task.

It will be easier for you because you are a photoshop user. Use it and don'd doubt about it. They are both adobe made and you know how they create a software.

If you have never used Photoshop or a designing program, you will find Adobe Spark very useful. This is a good program to create flyers, posters, social media graphics. You can create an amazing graphics easily. The best part of this program is you do not have to resize the image. Choose a template for the design you want to create, twitter banner for instance, and add what ever you want. Creating ads with Adobe spark is very easy. However, Photoshop is still the best program for designing needs.

But did you tried to use it on your phone? Is there any differences if I'm going to use it on my desktop? I wonder if what hardware or devices is more better use this adobe sparks?

I have not checked Adobe Spark from my hand held devices. In fact I do not even use Adobe Spark frequently. Well I agree that it is easier to layer images with filters and text through Adobe Spark, however, I prefer to use Photoshop for designing needs. I also agree that you can create ads, posters, flyers, presentations through Adobe spark easily compared to photoshop, still I do not use spark much.

Well thanks for the info, so far I only use Photoshop, and didn't know about Spark. Thinking about give it a try for sure. Do you think that it could help to create big banners, like the ones to put hanging on a bridge, or building wall? I really want those graphics to look great by far.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I am not sure whether you can create graphics that can be reproduced into big banners with Adobe Spark. You can sure create graphics that can be reproduced in very big size with Photoshop. Photoshop is a proper designing program, Spark is for small needs, for a quick fixing.

"For instance, if I do not have time to adjust light and color, I will always use an online photo editor called BeFunky."

While I don't doubt that other resources besides Photoshop can be useful, I personally can't really imagine using anything besides Photoshop for photo editing. I'm not a fan of pre-made photo filters as I like to be entirely in control of all the parameters. I keep my copy of Photoshop on my laptop, so whenever I need it, it's always available to me. After editing thousands of photos over the years, doing something as simple as adjusting light and color comes as easy as breathing.

Having Photoshop installed on an SSD is a bonus because I can access it faster than I could open a website.

I have been using photoshop since 6 years. I am not an expert though. I use photoshop to fix photos as well as create graphics and abstract art. However, I also find online photo editor handly when I want to add filters. It might take 5-10 minutes to fix color and light on your photo on photoshop, however, you can do the same thing on online photo editor under 2 minutes with a few clicks.

Thank you for discussing this as I didn't know adobe did this I will look into this as I love creating banners and logos. I normally use canva which is free but as some upgrade features so yeah I'll check this out thank you for sharing.

I haven't used canva but I have used Corel before. I din't really like using it because I think it is very complicated when it comes to tools and command. If Adobe sparks is almost like Adobe Photoshop, I think it would be a more realistic and more promising software for me.

canva is also a good program for designing logo, banners and other kinds of graphics. You can use the program for free. However, you have to pay to use premium templates or download the graphics in the transparent background.

I haven't used it yet, I'm studying InDesign right now which is another Adobe product, but it's good to know that there's this Adobe Spark that can do designs. Sometimes the best way is the easy way and by the way you describe it, it seems to be quite easy. I'll try it soon.

I've always seen Adobe as one of the best company that cares to make the world of designing a better place. Many of us that are graphics designing as a tough task has come to realize that it is quite easy as long as we follow the instructions given on the softwares used.

I have never used InDesign, however, I always wanted to learn InDesign. I use Photoshop for designing needs. I have also used Lightroom in the past. This is a good photo editing and photo management program for photographers. Adobe already has good programs for designing needs, however, the program like Spark eases our work. For a quick fix, Spark will be a great option.

Lightroom is great as well, but I've come to enjoy using software by adobe and that is the reason I feel that it is good. One good thing as well is the way they are keen to ensure that you get the maximum satisfaction with the way that we can get to contact their support team when we've got questions for them as well.

There are many designing software, however, Adobe's designing software are more popular. Adobe has different softeare for different designing needs. Adobe products do not remove the necessity of one product over other. For instance, photoshop and InDesign, are both designing program, however, these products are used for different designing different things. Lightroom is more of a photo management than designing program.
Adove Spark does not replace any of Adobe products.

To tell you the truth, I have used photoshop for quite a while now. I find it very handy in tweaking things in photos that needs enhancing. I would like to expand my knowledge more and explore making things such as logos using other apps. I would surely check Adobe Sparks as soon as I could get my hands on it.

I think you need this Adobe Sparks. More options much better. This one will help for sure, if you can't get what you want from Adobe Photoshop this one I think is recommended. But for me, I will still using the Photoshop, but I will try this somehow.

I've not made use of Adobe Spark for my graphics designing activities since I am still trying to learn the robes, but the thing is that I am getting better with photoshop and combining it with Adobe Spark is going to be kind of stressful for me as well. I will look at a situation where I get to work with both software when I become better at what I do.

Adobe spark is easy to use program. With drag and drop tools you can create posters, flyers, adverts, social media graphics, presentations etc. with Adobe spark. This program is for a quick fix. It can never be compared with a program like photoshop. Photoshop will continue to be the leader in graphics designing program.

Agree with you, but in my case, I'm not yet proficient in Adobe Photoshop and here's come the Adobe Spark. I'm now confuse about what I'm going to use, but well, they are different software and I think I will stick to Adobe Photoshop until I become proficient and then will try this Adobe spark.

Whether you are proficient or not proficient in Photoshop or any other designing program, programs like Adobe Spark will always come hand. For the people who do not use the designing program, Adobe spark offers great possibilities to create adverts, social media graphics, flyers, banners, posters, presentations etc. Even for the people who are already using designing programs, adobe spark allows creating wonderful graphics in short time.

Yeah, You're right. the name Adobe is well known for producing good software to make our life easier, I think the only problem about Adobe is to keep upgrading their software when you don't even know how to handle well their previous software. actually like Iphone.

If you have a deep interest in designing and are passionate about adobe's designing software, it is not very difficult to learn how to use Adobe's products. From the surface level, programs like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator look very difficult to master, however, once you begin to use these programs, you will enjoy working with these programs. You will always be surprised to see the end products.

If you are already using Photoshop or InDesign, you may not find Adope Spark too useful because there is a limitation on what you can do with it. However, you might also find the program handy because you do not have to bother with sizing your designs. You can also easily add text and other elements. I think Spark is a good program for creating ads or social media graphics.

I heard this one but never try it yet. based on my understanding about this product of adobe, it's versatile tool that you can use to create graphics, stories and animated videos and you can post on the web for marketing, education, and training. I think this is another very helpful tool from adobe.

I took a look at Adobe Spark and your right it's free and it's very easy to use. Using it lets you choose from three project categories: Post, Page or Video. Then there are story templates too and there's pop up prompts that guides you every step of the way. Your finish product would be saved in My Projects, where it's easy to access anytime.

Adobe Spark is a really good program for graphic designers as well as non-designers who want to try their hands on designing. Adobe Spark makes easier for designing various things, from social media graphics to ads, presentations, posters etc. You can start with templates of your choice. Adobe's designing programs are good, however, you need skills to use those programs. Spark can be sued by anyone without andy skills.

I already tried using Adobe Spark and it's really great the video output is about 10 seconds. What I like about it is it looks like Printmaster but spark is for animated vids or visual stories for the web, it's a free app download and what's good is you can use a smartphone.

This is actually the first time that I have ever heard of Adobe Spark, to be honest with you. It's weird that I have never ever heard of it especially since it is free but I guess Adobe never bothered to waste any time on advertising or marketing it because they don't make any profit from it.

Thanks for sharing it and letting us know about it Adobe Spark for designing needs

I think by offering Adobe Spark, Adobe is trying to capture the market that is already using free tools to create graphics. Adobe already has a lot of designing programs, yet Spark is a useful program. It is aimed at the people who are using free programs and apps to create graphics. This program is also geared towards people who have no interest in learning the graphic designing program, still, want to create their own graphics.

What's good with Adobe Spark is that you don't have to download anything, you can do everything at their site, creating videos is very easy because it would walk you through the process, step by step until your project is finished. There's a lot of templates to choose from and 4 layout choices, where you could format images and texts. Importing images from your computer is very easy too. After you finish making your project you can opt to share it or you could download it. It's a very user friendly program.

I have not tried to create videos on Spark, however, I think it is a great option for people who want to make promotional or introductory videos. I have used Spark only to create infographics and graphics for social media. I might try video option soon.

I haven't heard about Adobe spark before but I'm well familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator because they both have helped me a lot with my designing work. Maybe after hearing about Adobe spark now, I would weigh the possibility of trying it out and see how good it is going to be.

The actual reason why I haven't looked into using other design tools is because Photoshop has been so wonderful for me that I have less need to look for other alternatives but banking on one tool isn't always a good idea, so I will definitely check this one out.

Adobe Spark is one of the great products from Adobe that is unknown to many people. That's because Adobe is not promoting Spark as much as Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator. Well, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator are the most popular and widely used Adobe designing products, however, there are numerous other designing software from Adobe. Take Lightroom for instance, it is a photo management and editing tool for photographers. Sinxce heavy manipulation is disapproved in photography, Lightroom comes very handy for photographers. Likewise, Adobe Animate is an animation program that can be used to design vector graphics and animation.

For easy to make infographics i would recommend Adobe Spark, I simply love using it. It's so easy to make an info graphic video, it just takes minutes and with the walkthrough wizard it's impossible to make mistakes. Sure wish Adobe would make their other programs like this.

This looks promising with the way that you explained how to use the software Adobe spark. Since it's such a good tool to use for designing, I'm definitely interested in learning how to make use of it and it's sure thing that I'm going to acquire it sooner than later since it's very beneficial for me to use as well.

I have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription at work, and recently started using Spark under the recommendation of someone on another forum, and I think I fell in love with it immediately. I'm not particularly design-oriented, and the app makes it incredibly easy to create sleek, professional graphics for social media use. I'm primarily a video and photography person for my job, so I don't have ample time to learn to design anyway, which makes the application perfect for my purposes.

I haven't heard about this software although I used some of adobe software but not this one. I have not tried this one but I am willing to explore this software so thank you for the info. What I usually use are photoshop, illustrator and indesign. Its great that you gave us an idea with another kind of designing software and I must try this one.

U haven't tried out the software yet.I imagine its really good for being free especially because the creators are the developers from the company Adobe.I recommend buying Photoshop or After Effects as they can't be topped by simple and free software.Of course it can be useful, but in my opinion free software compared with software paid software isn't as good.

I think it's a fantastic free tool. I've got the app for it on my cell phone and still use it regularly. I think if you're just getting into design and don't want to shell out for expensive software, it's a great place to start and play around with different themes.

I've played round with Spark a bit. it's a amusing little system, but seems to me that it's far mainly a way to create a “video” version of a keynote in your pocket. Which can be actually handy in case your thoughts are flushed out and assets are easy. But, it appears clumsy if you want to go returned and edit things or your assets aren't already on your device. Also, I wouldn't assume the potential to do a whole lot manipulation of assets. They kinda have to all be prepared to place in to some degree. if your ideas are formidable i would lean in the direction of a more sophisticated platform.

Yeah, I agree its not for the in depth projects but when you've got little time and need to whip up a flyer or card very quickly it's the ideal software. I literally made a last minute flyer for a collegue while standing in line to go through TSA. Spark had a easily used format, my co-worker emailed me the photos and text she needed in the flyer and it was done before I even made in through security! Sometimes you don't want or need a lot of options, especially when it's not a life or death scenario and playing around with other Adobe software will take too long.

Adobe has more elaborate program for designing needs. Adobe Spark is only for those who want to do quick fix. It might take a lot of time to create a banner for your twitter account on photoshop, however, you can do this within a minute on Adobe Spark. You can create flyers, posters, even ads within minutes.
