I have Round Eyes and it means I'm a creative person with a vivid imagination. It is said that people with round eyes are idealists, emotional, charming and sometimes have a quick tongue.

That's good and I think that it is pretty okay for one to have this kind of eyes. This is one of the things that we can say that it is pretty nice when we are talking about the type of eyes that one has as well.

I think qualities you mentioned are great to have except for the last one, having a quick tongue. To my understanding, it means you say things most of the time without even thinking about it beforehand correct?

Wow that's great. You have so many positive qualities listed here. How many of these traits actually apply to you?

I agree with you. I have a friend with round eyes and has all these characteristics you share.

Yes, but personally I just think it really depends that everything doesn't really depends by the structure of the someones eyes, I just don't believe in that, what I believe though is the eyes are the windows to the soul, if you want to test that out then just try to look into the eyes of someone that is nervous you can really see their eyes wide open and mostly teary eyed.

I have a small eyes and I am glad to know the definition or description about it which means an articulate, focused. sharp, intelligent and analytic person. I never thought that most of those description fits in my personality, it is good to know since it really boost my confidence and morale after hearing such characteristics.

It is interesting learning more about the eyes. I will have to take a deep look at the mirror to understand what my eyes will say about me as well before coming to see the description that fits it. This is a nice thread where we get to learn a lot.

The Eyes are the Windows to the Soul: Thank you for the post it was interesting for me. Honestly i don't have any idea in terms of eye meaning. I gather another information i will truly share it to my friends. I am sure that they will find it interesting too. Some of my friend believed in sayings.

Lol i.have a small eyes and I can see that people with small eyes are articulate, sharp, focused and intelligent. I'm still work in progress I hope these attributes are for real because I'm not really feeling them for now.

That's true, in part, because eyes can be misleading. I think it would be better to examine the overall appearance to make a statement about a person, but it might give us little information. I know poor people who dress in expensive clothes, and rich people who dress into cheap clothes. God knows where's the truth nowadays.

It is true that eyes are the windows of our souls. It is quite interesting to know that informattions about our eyes. However, my main concern is not about the shape of our eyes but the things that our eyes saw. I remember a song that says, "Oh be careful little eyes what you see..." We really have to be very careful with what we saw because not everything we see is beneficial.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
That's true. There's a terrifying saying that there are some things we can't unsee. It's hinting that there are situations we would rather not have witnessed with our very own eyes. Because they're so shocking and unnerving.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
You are right. What we see becomes what we do afterwards. We have to be careful an discreet with what our eyes see.

I don't know where I belong. I have too much skin on my eyes but my eyes are not small, it is also not big so I don't know what category I am. They know me as being quiet, observant, listener and creative. That's the only things I knew but other think I am smart even if not. Nice thread tho and somehow I have learn new information today.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Maybe it's the normal sort of eye. Most people have a slightly similar looking eye. It could be the kind that blends well with the crowd. Other eye shapes tend to be very expressive. It makes you stand out more if you have them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

knnon
What if it's almond shaped and slightly large? Like mine! LOL! I'm not sure about those sayings but I do believe that eyes are the windows to the soul it because the eyes can show you so many emotions (or lack of it). It shows when a person is sad, when they're angry, tired, and even when they're happy!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
It's scary when eyes don't show any emotion. It's like the person is dead inside. It reminds me of antagonists in Horror movies. They have that glassy blank eye stare that gives people goosebumps.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

knnon
Or they're just really exhausted. Or maybe they're going through some emotional and mental stress. I'm not a fan of horror movies so those scenes don't really pop up when I see someone with emotionless eyes... I just think they might be going through a rough time and they're exhausted, they need a vacation.

Now, this is interesting. How about those people in East Asia? Specifically, people from China, almost all of them have been born with small eyes meaning all of them are articulate, focused, sharp, intelligent and analytic too?

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
That made me laugh. I can't say what their eyes mean. Like a lot of times, I'm not even sure what they're feeling. Their eyes tend to look closed even when they open them wide.

I guess it could look cute or weird depending on the rest of the facial features.

I have friends from Mongolia, and they all have tiny eye holes, but they all have different temperaments. It is said mongoloids have such eye width and shape because of the wind in the steppes.
Two are sanguines, cholerics are none, three are phlegmatic, and one is melancholic. So I don't know, but I think it's very random and highly impractical to make such assumptions based on the eyes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Yes, it's just a random thing I noticed. I feel like other people's eye shape can complement their facial features. But sometimes it tends to look different in a weird way.

That's interesting. So it's like their eyes adapted to their climate. That way, they're more able to see despite the windy atmosphere.

Haha. This is a great question and a challenge to the one who made a study about the eye shapes. I also need some answers as I am curious myself too.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
You can try reading articles in Google. This is more like one of those interesting ideas you can experiment on. It's not something that's one hundred percent accurate. Just an observation that most of us have noticed along the way.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

davedaot04
Well those are the exceptions of it, I mean obviously anyone that has common sense don't think of it that way, I mean who knows who's articulate and focused depending on just their eyes. Some of them maybe intelligent and some of them might not be.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

JBeleren
Haha. I guess not. Humans tend to give meaning to various things such as eye shape and attribute a certain quality to it. Although it can't be proven, what we can do is take the positive of these meanings and use it to feel better about ourselves. There are already so many negative things in our lives, we all need something positive everyday.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

NerdIndeed
Yeah, you're right. I do agree with you on the notion that not everything means something, it is just that some things are the way they are.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
That's interesting. I don't even know my eye shape. But I guess I would want the one with large eyes. Not the creepy or unsettling kind. I want the one that's hopeful and filled wonder. Kind of like the ones shown in commercials. The models evoke a sense of curiosity and understanding.

Interesting - however I don’t know how much of it I believe! Those are some pretty sweeping generalizations extended to large chunks of the population and I don’t think those characteristics can be applied to every single person!

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

knnon
I have to agree with you on this one. I just think that the saying meant that you can easily see a person's emotional state when you look at them in the eyes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

amelia88
I definitely think that’s true, that a person’s eyes really do show a lot of emotion. I feel like even without looking at the rest of someone’s face you can tell whether someone is happy or sad, angry or chill, and a whole host of other emotions.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
That's right. Various studies have actually concluded that the eyes are the most telling part of the human body. You can't fake a genuine smile. You can try to move your lips, but the eyes will always give you away.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

knnon
Isn't this also the reason why anime have those big eyes? So they can show emotions. I think it's one of the reasons why people are also enjoying watching those animes it's because their eyes convey so many emotions.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Exactly! It can also tell us how the person is feeling. It's hard to explain. But it's just one of those things you determine through your intuition. Kind of like a gut feeling.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Well, it's more like a general idea than an actual guide. I feel like we can all relate to having some intrinsic knowledge of someone based on their facial features. It's usually that people's appearance somehow match their overall personality. But of course, not always.

I find this to be very accurate. My boyfriend has almond shaped eyes and the first time I looked into them, he just had this undescribable energy that was so different from anything I had felt before. He's also the most attentive kindest person I have every met. Though he isn't very cautious, as I'm the much more cautious one of the two of us.

This is also super useful if you're dealing with someone and are not sure if they're trustworthy or not. I'm not saying to just judge the person based on their eyes, but if your gut can't decide on whether a person is trustworthy or not, this may be useful in determining it.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I find it really interesting as well. It seems that many of us agree with the given descriptions for each eye shape. I'm sure it can help to some degree. Like identifying the likelihood of someone's possible personality.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
Wow. I have never thought of this actually. What I know about eye shapes is just in animations, like when a character has big eyes, he's a protagonist or a kind person. On the contrary, when the character has small eyes, he's more like an antgonist. Lol.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
It's funny you mentioned that. I've also noticed something like it in cartoons and anime. It's usually the good guys who look cute and cuddly. Big eyes are common in animation. But villains tend to have that almost snake eye look. Very deceptive and mischievous.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

knnon
Not all big eyed anime characters are nice. Never trust the lolis that's for sure. Even pink haired characters is a no.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

emiaj55
A have a relatively small eyes, but I could not really classify myself as articulate and intelligent. Lol.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
Well, it's not exactly a perfect means of classifying personalities. It could be like a majority of people. But there will always be exceptions. I'm probably also like you in the sense that I'm not exactly that intelligent.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
I think basing the personality from the eyes is not really that accurate. As they say, you must not judge the book by its cover. You never know what's inside them.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Eyes are connected to the soul. I think they describe us. If you want o to learn about somebody than look in their eyes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I've found that this is true. It really shows us the person underneath. What I look for is a gentle spirit in the eyes. Someone who's humble and friendly.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

I think that eyes are very important because it help us to see the beauty of the world and makes us to enjoy things that we really see personally. It is good that god give us an eye for us to witness his beautiful creation which is very important from them all.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Steve5
I think so too. Our eyes let us appreciate the glory of his creation. I'm really thankful we have the gift of sight. We can see the rich colors of everything around us. It's said that no camera can ever match the quality of the human eye.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

davedaot04
It really is. There's so many circumstances where I just look at the persons I and I can really feel of what they're feeling or what they're experiencing, I mean I'm not an expert but it's really the windows to the soul. If someone is nervous or excited then their eyes usually get watery and is really wide open, on the other hand if someone is sad you can see their eyes looks dry and semi open.

I have small eyes which means I am an articulate, focused, sharp, intelligent and analytic person. How cool is that? Especially because most of them are true. I don't know so much about the intelligent part. I just do well to not be ignorant on things I know I am or will be concerned with.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

theresajane
You can actually live with that. It can be an inspiration and your driving force to really be intelligent. Well, we are all intelligent in many ways, that's why there are multiple intelligences.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

burgosmichael24
I believe that our eyes are the windows of our soul. Though the informations that was shared was quite interesting and entertaining, it can be also misleading for the reason that it was not the definition or the meaning of the statement that our eyes are the windows of our soul. We must be very careful with what our eyes see. Not everything is beneficial, not everything is good for us.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

cmoneyspinner
I have often heard people use that expression. But it's not true unless they are referring to your “spiritual eye” which is your mind. Your physical eye could not possibly be windows to your soul. Your soul is not visible in this world. Eye-shapes and personalities? Geez! Might as well call that racial profiling.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Alymae
I guess this can be considered racial profiling. The shapes of the eyes are inherited and genetically influenced. Those races with large eyes are considered a giving person? How about me who has small eyes? I give a lot.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

Alymae
I believe that eyes are the window to the soul but not in this sense. It is not a person's eye shape that determines the character. The meaning of the eyes are the window through the soul is when you look in a person's eyes, you can see the sincerity, honesty, kindness or evilness in a person's eyes.

Are you sure you want to delete this post?

antonToledo
I do agree that eyes are the window to our soul, but being able a to tell a persons personality and characteristics only based on the shape or what kind of eyes they possess is kind of unrealistic. Maybe there are studies base on this topic but humans are a more complex being than that.

I think that the sense of sight is one of the vital parts in our body that help us to easily locate or find something that we really need. I am just thinking if we don't have a sense of site then we could only see some darkness in our life which would make it more miserable since we don't have an idea on how beautiful the world is and all the things that are behind us.

I think I have almond shaped eyes. It's true that I am very cautious especially when going outside. I need to plan first before doing anything. I hate surprise events since it hinders me from making a plan first which makes me uneasy. I am also cautious on what to say to other people. I always think first before I say something which most of the time leads me to being silent of my ideas.
